We spent August 20 - 23 in Myslív, Czech Republic, at an event called "The Way Home". Together with KVH Tommy & Yankee we prepared a display dedicated to the U.S. Army forces in Czechoslovakia in 1945: 4th Armored Division and 45th Field Hospital. Our tents filled with wartime artifacts were open to the public. We enjoyed talking about living conditions of nurses serving in field hospitals during the war. Both adults and children found 1940s magazines, cosmetics, uniforms and photographs very interesting. We fought the heat, rain and cold but we couldn't wish for a better weekend!
