Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, 6th Service Command: freshly-trained nurses prepare to leave the training center for the Port of Embarkation. Destination: Unknown. They'll find out where they're headed aboard the troopship.

The purpose of our display at Good Morning Dęblin event was to portray a group of Army Nurses leaving the training center at Camp McCoy. We were inspired by some original photographs and found this combination of uniforms and equipment really interesting. In our pyramidal tent, we also set up a small display of ANC uniforms and personal items carried by nurses. The visitors could go inside and see how women lived during their service in the Army.

We came second in the competition for the best display! Big thank you to everyone who made that possible.
