Battle of the Bulge

Honor Walk

We walk in honor of Army Nurses who treated injured soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge. We walk to remember the fallen, honor the heroes, and educate others about the battle that turned the tide of World War II.

On December 20, we participated in a virtual march organized by the Best Defense Foundation. It was a free event open to everyone, no matter where they live. The rules were simple: walk 5 km and document it. Some of us decided to go in uniform. Through the forest, mud and uphill! We are glad that we were able to take part and pay tribute to everyone who fought in this battle!

A similar event is planned for spring, this time for the anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. We recommend that you follow the profile of Best Defense Foundation. What they do for veterans is amazing!
